Welcome to Contextral. We are dedicated to providing localized AI solutions that prioritize your data privacy and control. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in relation to our website and our services, reflecting our core philosophy: your data belongs to you.

Our Core Privacy Principle: Local-First AI

Our primary products are AI solutions (for individuals, businesses, and municipalities) designed to run directly on your personal hardware or within your private network. This means that any personal or sensitive data processed by our AI applications is kept within your control and is not transmitted to, stored on, or accessed by Contextral's servers. We build our technology this way because we believe in AI independence and data sovereignty.

An important exception to this local-first model is for software license validation. To install our software and to ensure your license subscription is active, the application will communicate with our servers. This communication is strictly limited to verifying your license key and does not involve sending any of your personal files, usage data, or other sensitive information.

This policy will differentiate between the data processed by our core products (which we don't collect, aside from license validation) and the limited information we collect through our public-facing website (www.contextral.com).
